Breathable membrane

Hi Chaps,
a U Plastic's rep came to site and informed me that my breathable roofing felt does not work, and that I need to vent my fascias.

Has anyone else heard that these felts don't work?

His comments seem a bit odd considering the products have been available for a number of years.

What, is he a sales rep?

What felt did you use? Is it all complete?

Some membranes may need ventilation

I think Tyvek have done some tests on their products showing that ventilation is not required, but this is not the case for products from other manufacturers

You need to consult the guidance from whoever made the membrane
