Brick shed and building control

Hi guys, I hope someone can help

I'm wanting to build a brick shed and wanted to check if I would need building control to inspect. I don't want them round as we have an non compliant garden room that was built a good few years ago before we moved in and i haven't decided what to do with this yet.
