Get a RGI to do all the checks, instead of chucking parts at it. Such a simple appliance.

new update - problem seems to be sorted called british gas to check pressure from gas meter and found the regulator on the gas meter was faulty they changed it and all seems fine at the moment,

THe Britony may be a "Simple" appliance but they can be a real Bar***ard, we have been having a nightmare with one of these this week, we have fitted a new Water section and spindle, make sure all of the water section parts are clear of scale build up
we have found that it is easier to remove the complete Gas/Water assembly from the heater and build it up on a bench
But of course this must be done by a RGI only ;)
