Strange, it doesn't work on my connection. I get an error code 1011 every time I try to run the test.
I still return a speed of around 70mbs from BT, and all other test providers around 30mbs.
It's got to be BT giving false speed results.
What is odd, nobody else seems to have the problem with the BT test that I am experiencing.
All other test providers give me around 30mbs .
Must talk to Plusnet, when I have the time to sit and wait for response from them.

I'm with Plusnet too FTTC and my speedcheck with BT shows it to be reasonably comparable with other speed check sites.

The speeds stated By isp are the max connection speed the line can achieve but that is not the same as the connectivity speed test .So you are not comparing like with like . Also method used to test vary as well as the servers used to test, its possible to test 20 times and get 20 different results.
