My ovens has a broken thermostat it's a old discontinued model and after searching for a replacement thermostat it was either unavailable or expensive, what I would like to know is would a generic part fit.
Both parts look identical the only difference is my oven has twin capillary/probe and the generic has only one would it work with a single probe?
I assume having two probes is for a more accurate temperature reading and that it would work with a single probe just not as well, is this correct?
