Facing bricks £0.50 ea.
Don't know what you mean by blue bricks
Bulk bags are £45.00 each
Cement £4.28 each

blue engineering bricks,,the ones you use to cap walls off with or dampproof courses

so £300 for 600 bricks is about right???

cheers

Blue bricks in Jacksons between £1 and 70p each plus vat depends on if you get a deal or not, or if account holder, trade etc Travis Perkins have a good site to get a rough idea of material costs ;) Also worth a look at wickes though the price you see is price you pay (vat included) also if you buy 5 bags of cement £2.50 odd a bag , think blues are about 70p there including vat .They also do cheap face bricks.
As a guide when I was building last year Wickes were selling thermalite blocks cheaper than Jacksons were buying them in at !!! Also the yard staff dont hide from you there

600 facing bricks (cheapish)-£240
100 staff blue bricks-£60
1 tonne bag building sand-£25
1 tonne bag ballast-£30
8 bags cement-£25
All +vat

My thoughts entirely Thermo I just checked what I pay and it's £25. £45 is taking the pi**.

could i ask were your getting your prices from?
and if you have a trade account?

i will be getting these materials delivered from jacksons.
but need to give a price/quote tommorow so dont want to shoot myself in the foot when it comes to ordering the materials

Who the hell are Jacksons?

They sell camping gear near me

You can't ask on a national forum for regional prices from a specific merchant

You can't phone them, they have no website, so the best you can hope for is a guess or to use a website like wickes to get some idea
