buying and fittin new taps

is it a easy job to do? i want to replace the ones in the bathroom

how long would it roughly take and would a relative novice be able to do it?

do you need any specialist tools i've already got a pretty good list of items

Hate to disillusion you but that article tells you about 5% of what you need to know.

Changing bath taps can be anything including pretty damn difficult and completely impossible, depending what space you have, how old they are, etc.
Even basin taps have their features. I've drilled a few out from the top where the nut was unturnable, even with several spanners to choose from.

If you're lucky, it'll all be over in 15 minutes!
