C & K alarm system

Help! Does anyone know how to extend the time i have to switch the alarm off when entering the house. Since resetting the system to change the code we now have about 1 second before the alam goes off when we come home. Just moved in to house so do not have manual and can't seem to find one on the internet which tells us. Model C023-203 issue 1. It has upto 8 zones available.

If you defaulted the system then the default timers are usually set to 20 or 30 seconds. It sounds like you might have a pir in the hall ? or a pir you activate / other door you go through before you get to the key pad. This circuit needs to be programmed as a walk through. One way to see if this is the problem is to set the system as normal then with you still outside the house only open the door till the entry bleep starts, if it keeps on bleeping for over 10 seconds then it is not the timer. On the other hand the door you come through might not be on zone 1 (defaults to entry route). Which led is on when the alarm goes off (before you reset).
