I have a row of kitchen cabinets which I'd like to wire up for lighting with a single convenient switch just at the end of the run. I'm undecided on which strip or downlight to go for at the moment.
Above the cabinets I have an FCU out of sight, and I intend to wire in a single low wattage downlight inside a glass cabinet and also a run of under-cabinet strip lights.
What would be the best way to go about switching them all at once?
I'm thinking of joining the mains flex of the downlight and strip transformer in a suitable junction box, run a switched live from there to the switch, then back to the JB, which itself is fed by the FCU. I believe some makes of strip lights can interefere with other non-transformer lighting (which is what the downlight is likely to be).
Does anyone have any of the mini strip lights from TLC? If so, how are they for glare/flicker/etc.. ?
Thanks.
