Im converting my garage, an internal studd wall has been made with fireline platerboard on one side. (all done with building regs) . I need to place cables through this wall at high level to connect to a CU on the other side. Whats the best method for maintaining the firelines protection. I know theres various methods and have seen fire rated expanding foam recently. Any advice is appreciated

Keep the hole as small as possible, and once the cables are in, pack the hole round the cables with rockwool, and seal it with intumescent sealant.
