I'm fitting a gas hob with single electric oven/grill rated at 2.4KW. The cable table recommends 2.5mm at 20amps.I've got 2.5mm cable rated at 23amps is this ok or do i need thicker cable for an electric oven. :(

The cable is normal ring main cable from Wickes.

HR - heat resistant

and 2.5T&E is rated 27A (clipped direct). not 23A?
