Hello everyone.

My custy has an old Flamingo 50s and between 4 to 8 hours of operation the pilot goes out but I cant figure out why. My fault finding on these old boilers obviously needs some work. Any ideas would be most welcome.

It's a balanced flue so there is no fan & I have replaced the thermocouple and the boiler stat but to no avail & the pilot burner is fine.
Any more ideas? I am beginning to suspect the gas valve may be sticking occasionally.

Possibly the gas valve.
if any signs of water it could be heat ex dripping into pilot

Shouldn't gas advice like this be posted in the CC ?

last time i installed a flamingo was 30 years ago :) it does sound like the gas valve, you've done everything else
