Hi there,

Do I really need to use some kind of "kitchen and bathroom paint" to paint the kitchen? Could I use vinyl silk (it's Dulux Trade Vinyl Silk) as I already know I have more than enough of it left over from another area in the colour I'd like to use.

Also, can I do a bathroom ceiling in Vinyl Silk? or should I use the anti mould/fungicide stuff?

thanks for any help!

ps. sorry if this has been covered. I just found a similar post.. I'm new with using the forum, but getting there!

you can use vinyl silk.

mildew in bathrooms is caused by lack of ventilation (and sometimes by cold uninsulated ceilings)

Vinyl silk is the poor mans bathroom and kitchen paint. :)
