Had a row of conifers across the bottom of our garden for some 30 years approx 3.5mtrs tall which gives us privacy from a public footpath.
With the ever increasing dry summers etc, the conifers are suffering (bare/brown) and taking as moisture from the soil the other plants and bushes are suffering too.
The council rules that the height of fencing should be 2mts max, yet had conifers of 3.5mts for so long.
Want to replace the conifers with a feathered edge fence of 3.6mts and argue the conifers has caused no issues to others over the years, yet one neighbour has conifers 4mts plus high.
Any comments ??
