Hi I have a large bathroom that is currently floored with a spongy lino over a concrete floor with no underlay. Im going to lay tile effect laminate can I just use the existing lino as an underlay? If not why not and why do you need under lay anyway ha ha thanks in advance

Blimey.....

....I hope you dont approach your day job with that attitude

...No do not lay on vinyl

...You need a (suitable) underlay to
support the laminate
provide a DPM on concrete floors
level slightly uneven floors
sound absorbtion
etc

Now can I just use speedfit to connect my boiler tro the gas supply???????
