Hi, im having problems with my dryer when i put the timer on it runs for about ten seconds and shuts off. i've tried turning it to other settings but the same happens, any ideas anyone ?

Door interlock? Try pressing on or jiggling the latch when it stops.

ive changed the door interlock micro switch but its still the same. do you think it might be the pcb. ?

When it stops do you see the start/stop LED's flash in a repeating sequence? If so count the number of flashes between pauses & post here.

the light flashes at a steady constant rate and does not change at all.

Sounds like your pcb is history.

Some machines have a check on the heater before they will run, may be worth testing the heater and thermostats.

Plug in power meters are great for this

If your Model has the little Start/Relay PCB approx. 10cm x5cm with six connections, they have the tendency to give the problem you have,cost approx.£15.
