Candy CMD 146 Washer/Dryer not heating up

I've got a Candy Washer dryer, and the water doesn't heat up and the dryer cycle spins but doesn't blow warm air. I've taken the top off and reset the little red button tingies - That worked for a minute but then tripped again.
I've checked the lint trap and all o.k, can anyone else have any ideas or had the problem??
Could this be the Thermostat or element, how would i go about checking this?

I take it you are saying the machine does not heat water during the wash cycle and it does not heat the air during the drying cycle.

How do you know the water does not heat up ?.

Hi Leccy,
When i put it on to a 90deg cycle there is no heat on the front of the glass, so i've assumed the water doesn't heat up.
