Candy Sprint 1300 Washing Machine - Wont complete wash cycle

Hi,
I have had this Candy Sprint 1300 CNA 135 washing mashing for around 6 years and it has done a sterling job. 2 kids and washing a football teams kits each week and it has always worked.

Last week it developed a problem where it would not complete a wash cycle. We would set it to run on prgram 4 and it would stop at any stage, may not drain the water, may not spin etc etc. The machine was still on and the door locked so it had just jammed.

We could turn it off and then move the dial on to the next stage and get this going again, now we are unable to do this.

I put a wash in this morning at 8am and it is still doing the first stage 3 hours later. Have tried to stop it and move it on but it keeps going back to this stage.

Any ideas on what is wrong with the machine. We had a problem with the brushes a year ago when it stopped spinning but apart from that it has been a good washer.

Check the filter for obstructions & motor brushes for excessive wear.

hi mine is doing the same thing i,ve tried the filter
and i put in new bushs and it went great for a week and i though it was fixed BUT THE PROBLEM IS BACK can any body help ?
