So this piece is the issue and as you can see it’s blocked.

Now I see that.
With drilling that hole in the red plastic it also drips fuel.

need to look for a tap or a fix.

Hmmm - that's a drag.
Check out L&S Engineers (same firm that had the washer I posted) - you may get lucky!

eBay £4 how about that.

Are you able to advise engine model as air filter lid is missing.this is how I think the main jet got blocked.

Sorry, I've no idea which engine model this is, but it will be on a label somewhere......maybe stamped on the casting?
Having a faulty or indeed no air cleaner has no affect on the main jet - that comes from dirt in the bottom of the float chamber which again gets dirt from the tank courtesy of dirty fuel cans!
It can though, affect the slow running of an engine, as the air bleed is usually a small drilling just to one side of the main carb venturi - air filter side.
John :)

Label shows SL1P60F

If i had asked the question correctly then i might of got the answer.
The filter box is as shown,so my question would be do you recognise it from another mower as trying to find the chinese mower isnt happening

Part of the housing goes onto the long carb bolts and help with 2 x 10mm nuts.
Air breather pipe off to one side & top section clips to the main housing.
Foam filter say 2 inches high & 4 inches long

Sorry but I don't recognise that one at all.....I think I'd concentrate on getting that fuel tap fuel tight, one way or another.
John :)

Fuel tap kit purchased on eBay £4 delivered.
Carb cleaner £3 so carb is now spotless.
Printed air filter housing lid say £2

see attached photos.

Repair tap kit fitted & 3D printed air filter cover fitted.
After pulling the cord 10 times I gave up.
Squirted some carb cleaner down air filter casing & started 1st pull. I let it run until it ran out of fuel.
Had a slight drip from float bowl so popped it off & small amount of silicon apples. Now dripping is cured.

Pulling the cord another 8 times got it started.
Ive tried starting it with the throttle / choke lever at various positions but it doesn’t like starting. Once started I cut the lawn fine.
