I am at the preparation stage of laying a new laminate floor. Thanks to the advice on here I went all in and took off the skirting boards.
In a couple of areas I need to fit new carpet trim / flooring trim (because obvioulsy I am going from carpet / carpet to carpet / wood flooring.
- What is the best way of fixing the trim to a concrete floor? Something like No More Nails or those tacks which held the carpet grippers in place which I took up (and subsequnetly threw away!)?
- Where can I buy those tacks / nails? Are they called something special?
- Where is the best place to buy carpet trim online? my hall way has a well for coir matting by the door and then laminate to the stairs so ideally I could do with a square edge one side and then an over hang for the laminate. Or can I just use this http://www.tradetrims.co.uk/carpet-trim---carpet-to-tile-273-p.asp
