I believe the thermostatic cartridge has failed on my Midas 100 shower. The flow rate is really poor, especially at higher temperatures. I have the same shower in another bathroom, and switched them over to check if the problem is to do with the pressure in the pipes. The flow rate is poor on the faulty shower unit in either location, and fine on the other shower unit in either location i.e. I have a faulty shower unit.
I tried to check the cartridge but couldn't remove it - it says in the instructions to clean filters. I removed the grub screw on the bottom of the unit (with a hex key head) and removed the cross head screw from the right hand (thermostatic) side - but can't work out how to remove the cartridge as it seems wedged in.
Can anyone advise how to remove the cartridge so I can confirm this as the problem (by switching the cartridge with the good shower).
The part I think I may need is 518101
