cctv ir lights

hi everyone,

i worked for a cctv manufacturer but that was nearly 15 years ago,with the ir lamps we used to make them with different filters,i am looking for a camera to put up on my house and was wondering if you can get them where the red glow is replaced with a hidden glow,not sure if this is possible.

yes you can get irs that are hardly visible to the human eye, id still stay pir lighting is better then any ir ******.

you can get cheap ir lighing off ebay, theres a seller who starts at £19.99

the reason i wanted ir is we live on a busy main road and the constant traffic the light may come on when cars or people pass,this might cause problems,also i wanted a light where people couldnt see it as a friend of mine had his cameras ripped out before he got broken into in,his cameras had the red glow so people new where they were.
