Hello everyone! I wonder if someone could help me with this problem..
Recently I had a programmer replaced (with a Honeywell ST1000), by a CH engineer. However, he left without being able to resolve this issue..
the timer works ok and the central heating works as normal with the hot water in the radiators, but I can't turn on the hot water independently. When I turn off the CH, the boiler turns off too even when the programmer water switch is on. And there seems to be no hot water in the taps even with the CH having been on..
I've checked the wiring in the programmer and all seems well there. It's a conventional gravity fed system.
Luckily I have an immersion heater otherwise I'd be left with no hot water.
Can anyone offer any suggestions as to what's wrong?
Many thanks, Mark, London.
