Central heating no hot water

Can any one help. I have added a extra radiator to the system. I have simply put a T joint from the bedroom to the conservatory and vice versa. I drained off the system. Now I have re filled the system I do not have hot water. i had hot water before I drained off. The boiler is a glow worm fuel saver MK11 and i also have a manual valve for heating and water. If I put the valve for heating/water the boiler fires up and the radiators get hot but no hot water. If I turn all the radiators off and change the valve to water the boiler does not fire up.
