Hello and thankyou in advance for any help

I have a Glow-worm 45 back boiler. The manual says it is an indirect system.

I had a leaking valve to a pipe today. We drained the system, replaced the valve and refired the boiler. The boiler fired straight up and the heating is working perfectly, but I now have no hot water. The tank is stone cold. I have run all the hot taps in the house and the water is running fine with no air or splutters.

Can anyone help?

motorized valve problem...what was the valve you worked on today?

Hello Ollski

It was only a shut-off valve. We have an extension and the heating was extended into it about two years ago. There are shut-off valves on the flow and return pipes so that that part can be isolated if necessary. Nothing else was touched.
