I have a Drayton digistat 3 thermostat which is installed in a bedroom and I really need it in the lounge, so have decided to go with an RF one because re-wiring would be a pain.

Can anyone reccomend an easy replacement. I dont need an all singing dancing model. It seems the Drayton models are quite expensive.

Thanks for advice.

concensus of opinion on the forum is , in no particular order

Salus rt500rf

honeywell cmt 927

siemens rev24rf

The reverse order of GG would be my preferred options.
I have never used the salus myself, but my mate has, and he is satisfied with them.
The siemens rev24rf and the honeywell cmt927 are probably the best products on the market. The siemens is a bit more accurate (although you don't need it) and has a very strong signal, which can be quite useful.
