Changing a garage roof

I have a free standing garage, it’s 6m by 3m
And has single skin walls. I’m wanting to put a flat roof with a rubber top. My question is, will the weight of a flat roof be to much for the garage since it’s single skinned??

Do you mean EPDM?

I am not a roofer, but I wouldn't imagine that the weight is much more than torch on felt (assuming that you currently have felt).

Lots of garages are single skin (with piers) and have concrete tiled roofs, as a rough rule, these are 50Kg per m² so your covering will be fine.
