check valves

Its called Dual Thermastore by Chelmer Heating. It is being installed with other work including full central heating changing from warm air to rads. The hot water will be same pressure as mains (about 2 - 2.8 bar).

The builder just said we needed check valves and so had to have exposed pipework so suddenly I'm thinking it is not going to look like the brochure. The builder says they never show pipework on the brochure so it is misleading to customers who think they are buying a certain "look" and then find it is all messed up by pipework. :(

Agile says the builder might mean "isolating valves", so I'll have to ask him to clarify what he means. Whichever he means I'm wondering whether they have to be right next to the basin or whether they could be at a convenient distance and then the pipes chased into the wall for the rest of the way.

regards and thanks for the replys, Denzil
