I wonder if anyone can help me.

I wish to remove an old water tank and replace it with a combi boiler. The existing water tank is fed on its own circuit from the CU via a FCU. I would quite like to also site a freezer near to the boiler. Am I allowed to run two FCU's on the same circuit without completing the ring?

i.e. I'd like to go from the CU to feed one FCU (for the new boiler) and link to another FCU (for the freezer). I might also feed a flex oultet plate from the freezer FCU, so I can turn on and off the freezer easily.

CU - FCU - FCU --Flex Outlet

Should be ok.

This type of circuit is not a ring, because there is no cable from the last FCU back to the CU.

So I would expect 15-20 amp protection at the CONSUMER UNIT, and all wiring no less than 2.5 mm.

Fit correct size fuses in the FCUs.

EDITED for wrong word.

Hi AJ - I was planning to have the FCU above the freezer and the flex outlet plate behind the freezer (if that makes sense?).
