currently i have a Grundfos UPE 40-80F 250 circulator pumping my central heating system and also the heating coil in the cylinder. recently both heating and hot water are not quite good and i have now noticed that the pump is not always coming on (it has an led indicator showing the level) when the boiler is on (resulting in the boiler cutting out after a little while). and i suspect there is something the matter causing intermittent failure of the circulator.
could any one advise regarding A) what could be the problem and how to go about identifying it and B) could i have this circulator repaired if the problem lies within it?
