CLASSIC! Megaflow with drain cock

Hi Guys,

Any thoughts on how to drain a megaflow without a drain cock? The bloody idiots who installed it years ago neglected to put one on and just put the inlet control set straight onto the inlet of cylinder!!!!

Not to mention the cold PRV does not discharge into the tundish but goes somewhere unidentified in 15mm copper!

Ant thoughts would be most appreciated.

Remove top outlet and place hosepipe in and syphon
out.

at machine mart you can buy a wee pump that fits into your drill, and it has a hosepipe connection each side, it works well and is quick

Siphon it out the top, you can go do something else while its draining then

then fit tee and drain cock where it cuts the hole.

How would you fit a tee onto the pipe? All a self-cutting appliance valve does is cut a small hole in the side of the pipe.

i expect twgas means cut into the pipe, drain down when you open the tap and afterwards remove it, fit the proper connection.quick method i think
