Hi All,

This has been bugging me for 12 months, here goes;

I had a conservatory built onto the back of my home complete with a new radiator with a thermostatic valve. The hep 2o plastic piping was T junctioned from the nearest radiator in the dining room (roughly 4 feet away) and fitted to the new radiator.

When the central heating comes on in the morning, the new radiator is luke warm but nothing like as hot as the dining room radiator. The thermostatic valve in the conservatory is working ok, and I have bled the new radiator.

I have closed all the radiators off in the house exept the conservatory, thinking the pump would flush any sedament away, this worked for a day or so, but now the conservatory radiator is luke warm where all the others are blazing heat out.

Anyone got any ideas as I am stumped? I thought it may be the pump perhaps???

Cheers,

Fethey.

Sounds like the system requires balancing correctly.

Could be the pump but would start with the most obvious first.

You can find advice on balancing in the FAQ's
