Hi, I have just discovered that the flush and cold water taps in the bathroom (not kitchen) of my flat are supplied from a cold water tank in the loft while the hot is from a combi boiler! Could this be messing with my water pressure balance too.. I was wondering – is this unhygienic and should I change it? If I do change it can I just connect the tank inlet to the tank outlet or will I need to do some major replumbing? Oh and will my hot water for shower lose pressure/flow if the cold is from mains instead?
Thank you!
Dave

no old set up but usaly remove head tank when combi installed just lasy way of doing it

So what should I do now? Can i just connect the tank inlet and outlet directly? Will the extra pressure create a significant chance of leaks??
