Some builders expected to pop over to give a quote on a single story extension, moving kitchen, bathroom etc

I am planning to hand them the:

- Planning Permission Drawings
- Building Regs Drawings
- Very high level Schedule of works (Literally 6 bullets of the main stages)

and ask them to come back with what they think it will cost and how long it will take.

Are there any other things you would ask them to include/exclude on the quote. Materials is one but the scope is massive..For example what constitutes as just 'building material'

Would greatly appreciate any tips, pointers you can suggest to get the most out of the exercise and not to waste builder's time in going back and forth. :?:

Thanks

I would wait till you get your quotes and then ask your questions, get a rapport going with the likely suspects ....
