concrete base building regs

do I need building regs to lay concrete base it will cover all my rear yard for building a concrete garage on when funds allow
if it helps it is already fully concreted but has a steep slope so want to hack up and relay

Maybe, depends on the size. If its going to cover the entire back yard the Planning Permission may be required too.

spoke to BCO and I now need to get a structural engineer to calculate for a reinforced floor its only for a garage what ever next

If it's detached and less than 30 sq. m., it won't need building regs.

attached to our house and neighbours and covering all our yard so pp and building regs needed was hoping I could have done the base without either looks like im waiting for architect and spring weather now
