Concrete slab

I have a large existing concrete slab in the front of my house, I'm thinking of laying some stones on it for decoration. But I will need to drive my car across it, I'm guessing this probably isn't a good idea as I may struggle with traction and stones firing up like bullets.

Can someone confirm that this would be foolish?
