Hi all,
I have noticed dampness appearing on the wall covering in my hall. I feared that I had a leak in the water pipe that runs upwards to the bathroom in the corner. After removing the wall covering, I could see that the water pipe is not embedded in the wall and is visible in places and does not run straight along the intersection (it snakes its way up the wall!). It seems that condensation is forming on the pipe and therefore causing the surrounding wall and wall covering to become damp. Anybody got a solution for this? I don't think I can reposition the pipework any deeper into the wall.
