Looking at options here- I may or may not be using a woodburner to drive the radiators and hot water- that's for the future, right now I've got some heating pipework to bury and I want to make sure it is compatible with either 'uncontrolled' (wood burner) or controlled (gas/oil/whatever) heat source. Plastic tube and couplers are a no-go- Speedfit and Hep2O both specifically prohibit their kit in uncontrolled source systems.
Does anyone know offhand whether the Conex pushfits are permitted for use in such a system- I've been wading through their product literature and can't find a specific mention. Reason for Q- there'll be 2 rad pipes poking out of a wall, I'll need elbows of some sort on them to get to the radiator once the wall surface is finished (yes I could get the tubes to emerge behind rad valves but it would be a monster pain job). Plus there's a couple of T joints up in the ceiling that are going to be iffy for blowlamp access. Ta for help
