hi, i have a existing villiger log burning stove which was already in place with central heating running, very badly from it, when i moved into this cottage. having had gas installed and proper central heating installed i removed the water heating parts and the flue from the back of the stove and have not used it for 3 years.. i have now decided that i would like to get it up and running again, but am having problems finding a flue connector that will fit onto the back of the stove. when i removed the old one it appeared to have been bolted, or screwed onto the back and then sealed with cement. then the flue only went about 3 ft up the chimny. the house and chimny is built of solid stone, with a straight up wide chimney which i know i need a cowl on. just wondering if any one has any clue as to where i can get the join for the back of the flue from. it needs to join to back and then bend and go directly straight up. all the sites i,ve looked at on here have them going at a slight angle..either that or can anyone recc someone in the somerset area that i could pay to do this for me? sorry if i have not been very technical with my descriptions, but am a woman.. just trying hard to do what i can for myself,,,but getting a bit stuck with this job! thanks.
