i am moving and upgrading my c/u very soon as my extension is rearly complete!!!
my c/u will be 6 meters away from the mains incomer, so the tails will be 6m long also im gonna run the tails along the outside wall with protection, is this safe?

I expect if you do it and we then wait a few years, we will find out.

I would be VERY surprised if your REC connected up DI tails longer than 2-3m from the meter. If longer than this, you need to install a sub-main.
