Quite so - and although I (and probably most others) don't have a clue about the number of serious electrical injuries, there were probably a couple of dozen or so deaths due to electric shock in the home - and at least some of them would almost certainly not have been preventable by an RCD.In 1999, about 28,000 people were killed or injured falling from ladders and steps in the home.
