I have seen a touch sensitive light switch that I would like to buy (pretty unique), but it is only available in a 1-way format. Is there any way I could get it to perform a 2-way function (as I would like it at the bottom of the stairs) by connecting some type of unit (relay maybe?) which would accept the standard 2-way connections, but output 1-way connections to the 1-way switch? I would like the 'device' to be able to be concealed in the wall.

Thx

I doubt if it is only available as a 1-way.Have you tried to contact the manufacturer or an electrical wholesaler.

Unfortunately it IS only available as a 1-way, the manufacturer (in China) says that a 2-way version is not currently available - hence why I could do with some gizmo to allow it to be used as a 2-way.......

Thx

a relay would work, but it would be hassle / grief than it would be worth

touch sensitive lightswitches here. They are also remote controlled, use any remote set and programme it.

Standard 3 core and earth cable to connect them together. Use any number of slaves for every master. 2, 3 and 4-gang versions available.

He hasn't shown us a picture or description. For all we know, i could've just linked to the switch he was talking about!

And compared to the number of standard dimmer switches in use, varilight are pretty unique
