cooker control unit

If I intend to supply ceramic electric hob by its own exclusive radial circuit with 30 A fuseway at consumer unit, is the cooker control unit 45A or 30A. Assuming I don't want one with an socket, will it be the same size as a single FCU or socket?

Sorry if this question sounds silly, but I'm a bit of a beginner in need of quick answers.

Is there a reason you're asking this again? What happens if the answer you get in this thread is different from the answer in the other? Which are you going to believe?


And having fitted this cooker circuit are you going to test it?

you can get a double pole switche 20A or 45A thats in a 1G
