I am removing my free standing cooker to be replaced by a Single Oven and Ceramic Hot Plate.

Given that the wiring etc is sufficient diam to take the load. Will the Cooker Outlet Plate normally fitted have enough space to receive both cable from the appliances? Are there different types?

Thanks
Alan

Thanks for the replys.

I know the cable is 10mm. I have a cooker Type 1 trip 40Amp in the consumer unit.

I suppose someone is going to say the consumer unit is outdated?

Any valid comments will be genuinely taken on board.

Thanks
