Hello Folks,

I have just installed a 45A 1G cooker switch. - make Knightsbridge with neon.

The neon in on even with the switch - off.

I rechecked the markings on the back of the switch and the mains appears to be connected to the right side of the switch.

I would have expected that the neon would only light with the switch switched on. Am I wrong?

Any help would be appreciated

It sounds like you have connected the cable from the CU to the 'load' side of the switch, and the cooker to the 'feed' side.

Knightsbridge are not an especially good make, it is possible (although unlikely) the switch is lablled wrong. Are you certain you havn't got your wires muxed ip? ;)
