Hi everyone - I'm new to this forum but not to DIY.
I recently had a leak in my CH system - could not work out where it was coming from.
Eventually tracked it down to a pinhole in a copper 15mm pipe which was in contact with brick. The pinhole was formed by a chemical/movement action (maybe because my bricks/mortar are 100 yrs old - lime?).
The leak made a right mess but I sorted it out with my trusty blowtorch - just a foot of pipe had to be cut.
I hope this is useful to others - make sure your pipes are not touching brick, or in a few years you may have a mystery leak!

Steve.
