Just about do a bathroom project for my parents. Managed without needing an SDS Plus drill/chisel up to now as I don't normally do enough of the sort of work that needs one and/or I have the luxury of taking my time - but in this case, I need to get the job done much faster and I have three walls of tiles to take off (leaving them in place isn't an option as I'm really tight on space for what I'm trying to do) and a hole for a 40mm waste pipe to drill through an outside wall.
So rather than chain drilling through walls, and taking the tiles off the hard way, I'm mulling over investing in the budget Titan SDS Plus drill which Screwfix sell, and getting myself a cranked tile chisel and core bit for it.
This gets generally good reviews at Screwfix for what it is, but not many people seem to have used it to core drill and wondered if anyone on here has? I'd actually like to go lighter for the tile removal but I'm thinking it's doubtful machines at around 800W or below would have the grunt and gearing to do the core drilling.
Any thoughts/ideas appreciated. Thanks
