So at the back of my garden I have this old concrete slab that used be the floor of a garage. The garage was pulled down years ago and now the 'slab' is between the end of my lawn and the garden fence. It's all overgrown and a bit of a mess. Tidied it up a little today but as I was pulling out weeds and moss the concrete was crumbling and the stones the concrete was mixed with about 40+ years ago are coming out.
As is always the case I'm on a limited budget. Ideally what I'd like to do is slab over the entire area, with something nice, as I would use it for BBQ'ing, chimnea etc and also have another shed up there. It's 6.5m wide by about 4.5m deep.
What's best????? Rip up the concrete and start again (sounds like my idea of hell), can I 'skim' over it, monoblock it, deck it, blow it up, move my fence to the edge of the grass and pretend it doesn't exist, move house or does someone out there have a real light bulb moment that will solve this dilemma for me????
