cross bonding confusion

if my property has a 4mm continous earth cross bonding my water pipes to the boiler and water stop cock, do i need to return the earth back to the consumer unit(like a ring main)? :confused:

no. its just accross the pipes. the main gas and water should also be earthed with 10mm min (6 for TT). this is taken back to the MET
 
so separate 10mm earths to the water and gas mains would be suffecient?

you need to bond gas and water (and oil /structural steel if used). you should also cross bond pipes at boilers

Ask your electricity supplier as they may require you to put 16mm² main equipotential bonding in.

Oh *it!! You said cross bonding, I thought you said cross-dressing..... :oops:
