I have almost finished laying my wood block floor, however as we are having new doors leading to the conservatory this is going to mean that the floor from the conservatorynow protrudes into our dining room.I have decided to attempt to cut the floor tiles back (approx 50mm)and lay down extra blocks.
Can any body offer me any advice on what is the best way to cut these tiles, they are already laid, i would really like to get as good and straight a finish as possible.

cheers paul

Do you have any spare tiles? If you do, pull them up, re cut and re fit.

If you don't have spare tiles, then there really isn't any mess free way of cutting them, a diamond blade in a grinder is the only way, an that will only get you so close to the door frame.
